Elm wood, turned edge yarn bowl with feature cut-out for feeding out yarn / wool balls.

The bowl has great 'shimmering' light reflections from the elm grain.


Turned from a tree that was taken down by Somerset District Council as part of tree maintenance.

English Walnut wood, live edge and sided Yarn Bowl with feature cut-out for feeding out yarn / wool balls.

The bowl has wonderful features from turning the whole branch to get the growth rings.


Turned from a tree that was taken down by a storm in 2020 in Wood Stanway, near Broadway in the Cotswolds.

The bowl has rich features from the spalting and bug holes!

The bowl has rich features from the turned bark on one side of the bowl body.


Taken from a chestnut tree  in a garden in Charlton Kings, Cheltenham which had to be felled after the storms of 2020 by tree surgeons. It would otherwise have gone in the chipper!

Taken from a former orchard near Pershore in Worcestershire. The family run orchard used to supply Bulmers Cider.
